Meatspace Communion works with individual artists with the shared goal of realizing potential in sustainable art making practices through short term and long term residencies both in cyberspace and meatspace.

In August of 2022, we partnered with artist and Meatspace Community member Emily Blythe Jones to sponsor her exhibition "Canine Dissonance" at the institution that was the historic Elephant Art Space in Los Angeles, CA.

The body of work exhibited was crafted during our long term residency program while researching and developing sustainability techniques alongside our team. The thesis of the exhibition reflects a desire to vanquish waste in favor of sharing and celebrating a full spectrum of life’s nuances. It illustrates a shared mission of exploring what can be created and celebrated using only recycled and recyclable materials.

In lieu of residency fees, Jones has generously bequeathed her documented research and web presence to our organization. As a committed team member, Jones will continue to be reachable within our company structure.
